New: Training + Placement, together

Specially-abled hiring, rebuilt around trust.

The gap

Why is India's largest untapped talent pool still locked out?

Four compounding failures keep specially-abled professionals out of formal jobs. IMAbled solves all four, together.

Formal workforce share

2.2%

Specially-abled representation in India's formal workforce, against a 4% RPWD Act reservation benchmark.

Recruiter hesitation

73%

Indian HR leaders report they cannot find verified, job-ready specially-abled candidates to interview.

NGOs with placements

1 in 4

Most disability-focused NGOs have strong candidate trust, but no structured placement pipeline.

Single trusted pipe

Until IMAbled, there was no one place where NGOs, trainers and employers worked off the same verified record.

Our model

Verify. Train. Place. One chain, three partners.

Most platforms try to solve hiring alone. We discovered that without verified candidates and job-ready skills, hiring never happens. So we built all three into one flow.

FAQ

The questions every partner asks first.

Plain answers. No marketing fluff.

IMAbled is consent-first. Candidates are introduced to roles by their registered NGO only after the NGO has reviewed fit and the candidate has agreed. Public listings expose specially-abled job seekers to spam and unverified recruiters, so every match happens inside the authenticated dashboard.

No. Candidate profiles are created and maintained by admin-verified NGOs. This keeps the trust chain intact: one audited entity vouches for each candidate. If you are a job seeker, the fastest path is to ask your NGO to register on IMAbled, or contact us and we will connect you to an NGO in your city.

Placements are always free for everyone. NGOs, companies, volunteers and candidates never pay a placement fee or commission. The platform is funded by CSR contributions from partner companies. Companies may optionally sponsor a specific training cohort, but that is never a condition of hiring.

Companies sponsor cohorts as part of their CSR or hiring pipeline. Volunteers contribute 2 hours a week of expertise at no charge. NGOs enrol their candidates for free. A candidate never pays to be trained on IMAbled.

NGOs nominate candidates based on skill gaps identified in their profile. Our matching layer factors ability profile, language, location, existing skills and career goal — then the NGO confirms the enrolment before the candidate joins the cohort.

No. IMAbled covers all 21 disability categories recognised under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016, including locomotor, visual, hearing, speech, intellectual, psychosocial and multiple disabilities. Accessibility support is tailored per candidate.
