Terms of Use
The rules of engagement on IMAbled. Last updated April 2026.
1. Acceptance
By registering or using IMAbled (imabled.com, app.imabled.com, api.imabled.com), operated by Pillai InfoTech LLP, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
2. Eligibility
NGO accounts must represent registered organisations working with specially-abled individuals. Company accounts must represent legally constituted businesses. We verify both before activation.
3. Account responsibilities
- Keep your credentials secure and do not share them.
- Provide accurate information — false data may result in account suspension.
- NGOs are responsible for obtaining consent from candidates before listing their profiles.
- Companies are responsible for honouring any offers they make through the platform.
4. Prohibited conduct
No fake profiles, spam, harassment, discrimination, misuse of candidate data, or any activity that violates Indian law, including the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016 and the Information Technology Act 2000.
5. Content ownership
You retain ownership of content you submit (candidate profiles, job postings, messages). By submitting, you grant IMAbled a non-exclusive licence to display, transmit, and store that content for platform operation.
6. No employment guarantee
IMAbled is a connecting platform. We do not guarantee employment for any candidate nor quality of hire for any company. All hiring decisions rest with the employer.
7. Service availability
We aim for high uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance and unforeseen outages may occur.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pillai InfoTech LLP is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or applicable law. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be notified by email.
